Very good place for family recipes Italian cooking. Great mom and pop restaurant with live music certain evenings. 5/5

My family and I frequent here at Romano Mercato since it's so close to our house. It's so nice having a bite to eat in the neighborhood -- dishes are always consistent in flavor and taste I always know what I'm going to get when I go here. Very homey vibe and feel to it and I love their grab and go section. The staff remembers you and will always make you feel welcomed. Fast service as well, definitely recommend stopping in!

The food is excellent. Prices are very reasonable. The entire menu is available for take out and they have a good selection of half-baked meals that your can buy and finish at home. Indoor seating is limited (about 7 tables) but there is more outdoors. The homemade gelato is exceptional. And there is a a small market with imported Italian products available for purchase.

Finally, a truly authentic Italian spot! The owner comes from southern Italy and imports everything directly. He even makes his own gelato in-house, which is absolutely divine, and his prices are unbeatable.

I recently came across this Italian Deli right in the middle of the Inspirada community in Henderson. This reminds me a bit of the Italian deli back at home in NY. Prices are very reasonable with plenty of options to choose from. I've tried the Vodka Rigatoni with sausage, the meatball sandwich, the "Romano" Italian sandwich and the chicken parmigiana sandwich. All of them were very good. They also have a bunch of desserts to choose from. Recently tried the gelato and cannolis which were also very good. Staff was very friendly and prepared the food very fast. It has a small seating area inside with a big tv and also an outdoor seating area with some live entertainment at times. Overall a great experience and I plan on going back to try some other options.

Decided that while we are on a house hunt, we eat at a place in the neighborhood to get all the vibes. Romano Mercato Italiano is a cute little café set into a residential park. It was super easy to find and the parking was plentiful. Walking in, you come right into the register to order. Walk in a little further and you can shop their little Italian food marketplace/shop. There were a lot of products and if I wasn't about to do a full day out in my car, I would have taken some stuff home. The person helping us at the counter and the person checking on us while we were eating were great. The person at the counter was stocking but when we walked in she immediately greeted us and said she'd be right with us. We told her no hurry, but she made sure to come back right away. She ended up having to wait for us a bit, while we were deciding that we wanted to eat. The person who brought out food an utensils and checked on us was funny and the right amount of helpful. The food was pretty darn good. I got the focaccia panino and my hubs got the gnocchi in meat sauce. The panino was great. The only thing I was surprised about what that it wasn't pressed or warm at all. The gnocchi in meat sauce was excellent. My hubs was sad he couldn't bring his leftovers home (because of the car) so he definitely over ate to compensate. Overall, I'd recommend this place, even if you didn't live in the neighborhood.
